Dear Patient,
we would like to inform you that personal data is collected and stored as part of dental treatment in our practice. Personal data is data that can be personally related to you (e.g. name, address, health data).
The collection and storage of the data is necessary for the treatment in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 b) EU-GDPR. Without the collection and storage of the data, the treatment is not possible. The health data collected and stored by you is special data, the authorization for processing of which follows from Art. 9 Para. 2 h) EU-GDPR.

The personal data we have stored about you will only be passed on in individual cases if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. statutory health insurance, statutory accident insurance, medical service of the health insurance funds), the transfer is necessary for the fulfillment of the treatment contract or you have consented to the transfer. The stored data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose of processing. In addition, we have to fulfill legal retention obligations that oblige us to keep health data (patient files) (§ 630f Abs. 3 BGB, § 28 Abs. 3 RöV).

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that your right to deletion of the data in accordance with Art. 17 Para. 3 b) EU-DSGVO can only take place within the framework of the documentation and storage obligations to which we are legally bound (§ 630f Abs. 3 BGB).
