Breathtaking innovation
Ceramic materials offer the most appealing results when restoring teeth. They also have the longest shelf life. Unfortunately, conventional production is quite complex. CEREC® speeds up the fabrication of high-quality ceramic dentures immensely. The process relies entirely on digital technology.
The tooth in need of treatment, which requires a ceramic filling, dentures or an optical upgrade, is scanned three-dimensionally with a special camera. The "counterpart" of the problem child in the opposite jaw is also included in the CEREC® procedure. Even veneers, wafer-thin ceramic shells to beautify the front teeth, can be produced with CEREC®.

The digital impression data is transferred directly to our in-house dental laboratory.

The advanced procedure eliminates the need for temporary fillings or tooth coverings as well as further treatment appointments. This is also what the abbreviation CEREC® stands for: "Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics".
Artificial dental crowns are required if the tooth has already lost a lot of substance - for example after caries therapy with or without root canal treatment. However, the new procedure is not only interesting for the immediate fabrication of CEREC® crowns. It can also be used to produce inlays or onlays. These are all-ceramic fillings that offer a particularly high-quality alternative to fillings made of plastic, gold or amalgam. Inlays are used when the side walls of the tooth are still stable. Onlays, often called partial crowns, overlap it laterally to ensure sufficient chewing strength.

CEREC® has a wide range of applications
Veneers can also be fabricated with the help of CEREC®. These translucent ceramic veneers are bonded to the front teeth. They can beautifully cover slight misalignments, discolorations, gaps between teeth or damaged areas.
Any type of dental prosthesis made with CEREC® will quickly give you a particularly beautiful, unclouded smile.

Biting into impression material becomes unnecessary
Using the digital data, the required crowns, inlays or veneers are milled fully automatically in one piece from a ceramic block with CEREC®. This makes the dentures highly stable. With the "digital impression", its height can also be determined exactly in advance. Conventional production methods usually require more extensive reworking.
