Artificial teeth or dental implants should function in exactly the same way as your own teeth. Dental implants are therefore the best alternative to bridges or dentures. These are artificial tooth roots made of titanium that are inserted in to the upper or lower jaw as implants and support the dental prosthesis. In contrast to traditional dental prostheses, using this type of dental implant means that no other teeth need to serve as supports or be filed down. Unpleasant palatal covers that may impair the sense of taste are therefore also things of the past. Should this be necessary from a dental implantology point of view, our treatment shall also include the specialised field of bone augmentation implants.
